The 96th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, took place in Los Angeles on Sunday. Christopher Nolan’s biopic drama Oppenheimer won a leading seven Oscars, including Best Picture. The other wins were for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Original Score. The Cillian Murphy-led drama was a frontrunner heading into the ceremony with with 13 nominations. Some of the other films that won were Barbie, Poor Things and The Zone of Interest.
